lyrics

LOSING FEELING

You've learned a lesson
By that infection
That all can be resolved
Or apply repetition
Or apply repetition

Stitch that incision
It's my premonition
That you've been stringing me along

Lie back and stay awhile
No coats are comfortable

The lacerations clearly represent a measured assault
You had it all along
Unbridled accidents will look more like a person's at fault
You've had it all along

In line
Enslaved
Insult
In injury
In doubt
Enraged
When doubt
Is sustained

I know I'm nearing the end
When I can't feel the pain
One half we'll bury
And the other half will always remain

Like a god in apocalypse says:
"You had it all along...
...Until the feeling's gone."

The Bled To Death comments:
"I first encountered Before Braille opening for them with my band Rondo Vega at the Lucky Dragon. After that band ended, I continued playing shows with them in Batter The Drag. I was immediately drawn to their energy, their songwriting, and most of all them as human beings. I can remember Dave and I having long conversations about Jesus Chrysler Supercar, sodas, which insects are the coolest, monsoons, bands, etc. It was always a pleasure to not only get to see them live (they were amazing) but also just to hang out with them and talk about whatever came to mind. It was an absolute honor in being asked to contribute to this compilation. The song I chose was one that immediately grabbed my attention upon first listen. I KNEW I couldn't do it justice (the original is just too good) so I decided to do an ""interpretation"" of the song, rather than a true cover. Anyway, Before Braille, what else can I say. Oh, here's a good one: When I first moved to NYC in 2006 I met a guy who would end up being my drummer in several bands. We were hanging out one day and, in conversation, Before Braille came up. His eyes shot wide, he looked at me, and said, ""Dude, I love Before Braille."" It was at that moment I had a pretty good inkling we were going to be fast friends. ;)"

I love you!
